News – Orientation tests for Plant design & engineering

Recent developments for the Oleochemical track

In order to make the best engineering choices for the design of its enzymatic esterification plant in Oelegem Belgium, Oleon is conducting a full week of orientation tests with one of its engineering subcontractors, Modular Process Solutions Ltd.

A range of processing conditions for product stripping is tested to ensure mild processing conditions while still obtaining a product of high quality. The results look promising and ensure that we stay on track for our project planning!

The results of these tests will lead to an improved design for this part of the process and will be integrated in the overall design of our INCITE project partner BIO-P.
